Drawing

      Bezier Curve Example

All vector drawings are composed of a series of lines or curves, or a combination of the two. The vector drawing of the man running is composed of curves (technically referred to as Bezier curves or B-splines) which are defined by control points. Control points can be added, deleted, or moved. These Bezier curves can be further modified by selecting a control point and moving its handles (as seen in the inset view). Apply the desired fill, line color, and thickness.

Zippy Logo
When a vector image is resized, the computer recalculates how to draw the stored Bezier geometry. This characteristic allows vector images to retain their quality and clarity at any size. Resolution independence, as well as storage efficiency makes vector graphics the ideal format for logos, cartoons, maps, etc.
