The "Cadillac of the Skies" is available in a head-on view and as a FlexART image in Arts & Letters Warbirds. The initial FlexART image is of a P-51D about to taxi, its propeller barely turning.
To make it appear to be taking off, the propeller blades can be deleted, leaving a hint of the propeller's arc. Finally, the landing gear can be deleted, leaving the appearance of retracted and covered landing gear, and the drop tanks can be jettisoned.
